so sorry din post like since my last post on the holiday blog thingie..
ok..
so here goes..
took off on an airplane on spore time monday..
and my my..
guess who we met at the LAX airport??
Chin Cher! (or how u spell his name)
what a small world..
he is jie jie xueli's husband-to-be
well..
maybe the song from Disney shd come into play..

he actually on direct flight from mexico to spore
but then no mre seats
so he transit at LA..
and so happen we were on tat flight
even mre interesting..
he sit 4 rows infront of us
LOL
so begins our flight
for the return flight, which was 18 hrs..
we had..
Lunch first..
which was oriental fried rice for me..
and we had light snaks before arrival in tokyo
which was some western thingie..(cant recall..have to look at pics)
and dinner..which was like 10pm spore tiime..was baked salmon
then...had supper..hot ovaltine with assorted biscuits..
and then..
we arrived in spore
ok..reality arrives
we took our bags..
and looked for a taxi
btw..
did u noe smth?
we went to LA with 5 bags..
and came back with 8!
2 mre big luggage and 1 small bag

Reality Check #1 - Taxi Fare
Our taxi was Comfort
our bags cld nt fit in
*Singapore cars still smaller then LA cars..theirs cld fit our luggage..here cant..tsk tsk..
so the boot wasnt closed entirely
the poor driver certainly had a hard time lifting those bags..his expression said it all..
his jaws almost fell off..

den as the ride went along..
i stared at the meter
first tot in my mind..

y the meter jump so fast??
den i recall the news i saw at LA abt the taxi fare increasing
(NO! it din make the news at LA..y would it?? it made the news on YAHOO..LOL)
den i tot again..but so fast meh!!
by the time we reached home..
this was the charge
normal fare-$6.80

onli words i said- Take the bags out
onli thing i did- bring the bags out of the taxi way..
next thing to tink of
"How do we carry 8 bags up,of which each luggage(big one) average 20kg"
Answer: We carry it to the lift lobby, then come back for mre..and at the lift lobby..load it into the lift..and go up to 7 floor..and take out the bag..and slowli drag it into the hse.
LOL..veri lame rite
its like duh.
We then stayed awake the rest of the day..
and went down for bfast
it was our long missed delicacy
Kuay Tiao Mee ta mai hiam
which means kuay tiao mee dry no chilli
then..
i went for soccer
and realsied the nearby 7-11 renovated when i was away
the bus felt differnet too
too long bo take

then soccer was FUN!
bot them some chocs and beef and turkey jerky
which they loved
we then went for lunch

we went to other stalls

until tw slept
so we play a prank on him

went to ws for dinner
we had ban mian
which was nicee
we then went to NTUC
buy groceries
and lol
i almost slpt while walking

since the day we left..from LA..
i din slp till the time i almost slpt at NTUC
which was almost 40 hrs already.
and spending a load of time in an airplance watching shows..
such as
1) Ratatouille
2) Flash Point (HK police drama)
3) some HK police drama again, cant recall title
4) Contract Lover..(cos mum saw a small part and tot it was interesting..ask us to watch..den realise it was like M18 or R21..so ask us to change channel..LOL)
5) Another Police Show..but from America..watch halfway..then saw gt obsence things..so change..)
Decided that movies were nt so suitable..
so watch documentary
6) Planet Earth
It was so interesting
talked about Crater lakes
and how carbon dioxide killed 1700
its a long story
so to cut the story short, the people staying near seattle are next at risk of a major mudslide and carbon dioside poisoning and they have 14 minutes to flee when detectors near the mountain covered in ice signal the warning, mudslide becos of those ice, and carbon dioxide poisoning due to massive build up of CO2 in the mountain which may pop any moment..like the gas in a wine bottle..

then went for bfast
