today tw came to my hse
mum wanted to cook a meal for him

a treat
haas

we had western lunch
Grilled chicken, Campbell Soup, Nuggets, Garlic Bread, and Ice Pops!

it was a nice lunch

and had a gd time toking to him
=P

we then mugged..
for an hr
before going downstairs to wait for uncle andrew to pick us up
we had a soccer match u see..
so we were all changed..
in the lift..
when fuwen called
to say..
"Pitch waterlogged.Match cancelled."
ok..
was my response..
lol
so we went back up home
and played more FM
lols
play till 6.30
then he went home
and i had dinnner

teach sister some maths
before doing physics revision
then now blogging

hmm
saw this interesting rumour
one is gd, the other is bad
hope the gd one is true

Fantastic Five reunion!

ahahahaha

woke up at 6am

to wake tiong wei and daniel up

only to realise i myself was running late

we arranged to meet at tpjc bus stop at 6.45am

and i had only 45 mins to get to bath, and get to tpjc

it din help tat i had to print smth out

the result?

i was late

like..5 mins late i tink

so sorry pals!

especially sorry to uncle and auntie..

then..

the five of us..me,daniel,tiongwei,bojun and baohui set off in uncles van to harbour front!

from there, we took mrt to outram park

look! its daniel acting cool and baohui tryin to take fotos of us too

we then went to take bus 174 to the place

and we took this foto!

hahah

I was the camera man ma..

now here's me..

lols..thanks to daniel's head which was blocking me..
i had to be in this interesting position ^^

we soon reached Foodie Paradise which was at Red Star Restaurant

so its like..we have to sahre $30+ for cabs in a day

and played as arsenal

SMO..

today woke up crazily early ar!!
cant believe i wake myself up so early for maths
...
went to NUS for SMO competition
mrt journey there was 1 hr..+30 mins bus ride..

reached NUS at 8.45am
and saw vincent
so we walked in tgt..
to LT 31
and realised that shu hui,xiao xian,amanda, and sarah i tink reached NUS same time as us despite taking car..nice..

SMO was okay i guess?
managed 14 questions
with around 6 being tikam/presume..
hope its right presume..
lol
shd get at least 5 rite??
yea!
at least honourable mention..
HOPEfully

then me,shu hui,xiao xian,amanda and sarah went to eat lunch tgt
omg..
NUS the food seriously nice,good value, and cheap
we ate at LT 31 de megabites cafe
i had this..

Chicken cutlet plus fries + colestraw+mushroom soup
all for $3.90!
and i was full half way thru
wow
to think the girls still ordered pizza
and then they cld nt finish it
except sarah
she eat like siao ar
seriously man
and damn funny too
one is..she eat the pizza..must remove the veg..took like so long?
then amanda eat quite slow too

but yes..nice food they serve

then we all took mrt home..
it was raining heavily

2 days into my holidays..well spent indeed.. (:

been quite happy with myself ^^
been a very good boy and been taking out my notes to study

Monday:
went to daniel's hse to study with grace
kinda interesting
cuz we all arranged to meet at tmall at 9.30 for bfast
then i played audition until like 9am..
then realised i cld be running late
then grace tell me she stuck in traffic jam
so i was kinda relieved

but what was to come was a mad rush between us to not be the last
daniel was already waiting
and then her train just reach tm before me by 15 seconds?
so in the end i was the last

then we saw grace friend serene at macdonalds
she was there for pw meeting
but somehow..
she came to find me,daniel and grace at ya kun
cuz her pw group mates were late

then..
guess who we saw!
we saw our secondary 2 teacher mr christopher LAI!!
haha
so long no see
he's still as nice
he was supposed to meet mr alvin tan for bfast
and daniel heard as miss susanna tan
then he ask me..
'seriously i tink mr lai and miss tan dating'
i was like..huh? is mr alvin tan lea..
he was like..serious? hah!

we had kaya toast and butter toast i tink..
cuz grace wanted the cheapest meal available -.-
then ar..
the serene and grace seriously had a great time making fun of me and daniel

soon we went to daniel's hse to study
we mugged till ard 1.45pm..
and by then i finished maths elearn..and chem elearn
then we had lunch
which was quite ok

we went to the toilet
then daniel in the toilet..

later grace ar..open the door then i dunno wat to do'

then i went out and there was grace laughing away..

we continued mugging till ard 7pm
then we went out to buy dinner
apparently grace din want to eat
so daniel father gave her money to buy..

finished chem,maths,chinese part 1..whee

the gal with the porous brain had no idea how to get home
and poor me had to bring her to her busstop..
by taking bus 34 to another bus stop so that she cld get on her bus 65/168/23
but oh well..i almost went to changi airport instead
after alighting with her from 34
and making sure she gt on the right bus otherwise someone gna scold me..
then i took 34 again..hoping to get to ngee ann to change bus
but overshot the busstop cuz on phone with gary
and heng..
managed to alight before it went on expressway

that rounded up my day
a fun filled one with two of my good frenz

Tuesday:
Woke up early today
hoping to get my day on the right track
wanted to mugg
and planned a load of work
wanted to do finish chinese part 2 and 3,chem revision on mole concepts,maths revision on partial frac, phy revision on measurements and physics elearning
plus pw research
and yay
the fact i'm here blogging and resting since dinner means i completed all of them

lost 2-1.cut to lips.dead tired.

today uncle andrew sent me to Regent Secondary to play soccer
we were facing off against PromisedLand
a relatively unknown team

when i reached there
uncle steven said thaddeus called to say only gt 11 players
-.-
so uncle jeremy came

then the ref came to us and said
its 5.30
we must start now
and the best thing?
we only had 10 players present
apparently we had more players now..14 in total..
but they were late
so we started with 10 men
and i started as a RB
was not exactly sure if i would at least help the defence
cuz i find it hard to keep track with our offside trap and my first touch clearance is nt exactly smth to be proud of
and there and then
5 mins into the first half
i suffered my first injury of the season
it wasnt smth serious
but it was enuff to at least scare my mum?
i attempted a volley clearance
the ball bounced off my opponent
and when straight to my mouth
then i cleared the ball
what i din realize immediately was that that hit on my mouth caused my lips to crack and it bleed
and so for the whole half
i was spitting blood
thats y they might have wondered why i kept spitting
haha

half time
i was prepared to come off
after all
we were leading 1-0
and i felt joel kuan would be a btr defender then me
but then
we only had 3 subs
and all 3 uncles cannot tahan anymore
so i continues in RB for second half

second half was disatrous
we conceded a penalty
and let in a scorcher from outside the penalty area
we were 2-1 down
i tink its fair to say the second goal was a result of my inability to catch up or at least give the left winger a physical contest
a long diagonal ball from the right hand side of the pitch found this left winger
and i ran all the way from midfield to catch up with him
which i did
but he was too much bigger then me
so he gt passed me and crossed in
joel kuan managed to head it away
and then..
the opponent let fly a shot that gave our keeper no chance
from then on
it was us attacking
bt in a match we dominated
we lost it in the most perculiar fashion
last 5 mins
we had a penalty
and thaddeus and joel kuan tot we were gna score it and get tat equaliser
so we decided to pretend we were in a championsleague finals
and we stood at midfield
with arms around each other
and prepared to jump up and down if torrence scored from the penalty spot
then shao ask us to be serious and get ready for rebounds
so we decided to put aside our play
and to our disbelief
torrence shot clipped the post
it was still 2-1 to PromiseLand

then..
i had a chance to deliver a cross in from right wing
after picking it up outside the box
but nick couldnt get a clean touch to it
the ball sent it was a bit too high i guess
we lost.and there's no goal to dedicate to you.but one thing for sure.
then i ahd another chance in the dying moments
getting the ball
i somehow gt pass 1 defender then tried to pass to siyuan
but i passed to a defender instead
oh well
the thought of you made me carry on despite the blood
then
we lost

but i guess we did not have enuff palyers too
it was my first time palying 90 mins of a match
and i was completely tired!
hahah
but i guess its good to play for so long
trains up stamina
^^

you can say yesterday was a day of soccer!
ahah
2 matches within 12 hrs of each other
2 winners
Jalan Besar to Moscow.
Drama galore.

yesterday was MJC VS VJC in the soccer finals held at jalan besar stadium
the whole mjc went down to cheer the boys on
we started out on a good note
a freekick from midfield taken by joseph went straight towards the goal in the first min
it caught the keeper by surprise
but he pushed it against his bar to 'safety'
it resulted in a goal mouth melee
with mjc scrambling the ball into the net
and a vjc player knocking his head against the pole
ouch*

then vjc dominated us
it was a peach of an equaliser from them
right wing cross
left winger chest down ball
half volley
*bam*
its in the net

before tat goal
mjc had 2 lucky moments
one of which was truly oure luck
a cross came into mjc defensive area
mjc defenders fail to clear
vjc striker alex one on one with our keeper
with the whole net to shoot at
and mjc keeeper already tricked by the striker
the vjc striker could only shoot into the keepers leg and deflect off
that, was pure luck

then second half
good footwork from mjc left winger left 3 vjc defenders sprawling on the floor
and a not so good cross came in
went pass the vjc keeper
and a mjc player headed the ball into an empty net

from then on, when it was mjc 2 vjc 1
vjc dominated possession
they brought on striker after striker
leaving one defender at the back at times
still
mjc held on
for a win
but it was just the start of 2 soccer matches to be held yesterday
there was still manchester united vs chelsea at Moscow to catch
and i was nvr gna miss it even if it meant no sleep for meee

after the mjc match
met up with daniel, grace and sara for dinner
seriously grace has a porous brain
from jalan besar stadium she dunno how to get to lavender mrt!!!

me and daniel noe how to get there

we decided to go to bugis for dinner
bugis changed alot
and food junction was no longer at B1
but being me

i knew whr the food court was!
cuz my aunt bought me there b4?

and so we all had jap cuisine

its real ex lor
mine cost $8

had unagi bento
but the unagi is seriously huge
hahaha
and it had a nice salad too
not just cabage
came ith alot of other vegetables
so it was special
but i still prefer kuriya restaurant de jap cuisine

then so happened my class gals and jeremiah were there too
sitting behind us
and we saw some of grace classmates too
and sze how

then we all went back
take mrt
me n daniel alighted at tampines to go daniel hse
then i did some chem there and we took his lappy and went to bao hui hse
go bao hui hse..
take playstation controller
then go jimson house get ready to play the whole nite to the championsleague finals match
it was real fun

at abt 2 wek ordered macdonalds delivery
had a mcspicy
we were all impatient for the match to start
and oso hungry
soon..
it started

Manchester United: VDS,Ferdinand,Vidic,Brown,Evra,Scholes,Carrick,Hargreaves,Ronaldo,Rooney,Tevez.
It was a 4-4-2 formation
and we had our reservations over how ronaldo and hargreaves were going to change flanks
but boy
hargreaves proved us wrong
and excelled as a winger
one of the surprise tatical nous by ferguson (:
Chelsea:
Cech,Terry,Carvalho,Essien,A Cole,Makelele,Lampard,Ballack,Malouda,Cole,Drogba
It was a attacking 4-5-1 formation..and looked certain to threaten man u defence as always

surprisingly
the first half was man u all the way
65% possesion after 25 mins
man u were rocking
ronaldo had put man u into the lead
with a great header from a great cross by brown on his weaker foot
essien, seing that ronaldo was certainly putting the ball in the net,din even challenge roanldo but just shaked his head and squat down
essien, is certainly failable
then
it started raining
the pitch was very slippery
and essien had a shot from outside the box
it had 2 deflection
caused van der sar to slip
and lampard slotted it in
silence stung the house
chelsea had equalized
we were all left rueing what might have been 3-1 to man utd by the break
a point blank save from tevez header, a point blank save from carrick follow up, and a scare for chelsea as tevez slid narrowly wide of tapping in rooney's cross
half time: Man Utd 1 Chelsea 1

second half started
and chelsea were revitalised
man u defended stoutly
waiting for counter attacks
but chelsea defence held on
with terry clearing off the line from giggs shot, a second half sub

it was soon extra time
and i din really want to watch it
truth was
chelsea kept shooting
and kept hitting the post
truth was, i was right.it's written in the stars for man u to win it this year
chelsea
for all their efforts
lacked something
luck.

it was down to penalties

today's holiday was spent doing
-3 econs essay, chem tutorial (which i spent 1 hr staring into question marks over the chem bonding tutorial)
-maths 2007 midyr exam questions (which i nvr completed)
-flipping thru the magazines on cars..loads of info to browse thru and extract for PW
and of cos
play games

watched the Arena too
and the channel 8 show at 9pm..
at least there were some breaks..
bt on a typical public holiday in secondary school, i would have spent half my day at tampines street soccer court scoring goals
hahahhahahahahaha

cant wait for tml to come and go

i feel bad about it
i tink i gna screw it

7-1 trashing of Newcastle United Fan Club Singapore

today i am VERY happy
hahahahahahahahahha

firstly, agape kids was great today!
learnt things from the kids, and had fun with them
yup
the P5 and 6s won the quiz
woots
so their prize should be a trip to escape

then had poiema
we played some games
and it was fun too
and watch a documentary on Nooma..
which was informative
=)

then..
i lunched with uncle steven

then we went to Mayflower Secondary
for soccer match
surprise surprise
out opponents were Newcastle Fan Club Singapore
(Gary dun be sad kae..we trashed newcastle) =P

it started out with a little drama
i started as a substitute
bt our first team players late
so i slotted in at left mid for temporary measures
then 5 minutes into the game
nick replaced me
then..
uncle steven scored!!
1-0 to All Saints FC

then..
we restart..
and uncle steven gt the ball down the flank..
cross in..
2-0!
nick score with his first touch
woots

then uncle steven came off
he was tired
then..
20 mins..
drama unfold
our player (cant rmb name) suffered a bleeding head
so i sub on for him and play left back for the nxt 25 mins or so
i wasnt quite ready to play left back
but thankfully i din make too much errors
except for one miscommunication with shao
thankfully the striker screw his shot

then by then, jeremy had scored from a corner, and jon scored a penalty
4-0 by half time

second half, i din start
but ard 60 mins, i subbed in for jermaine i tink
played right wing
and wat a great time to go in
haha

we were leading 5-0 by the time i went in..
as nick had scored a nice left footed shot from left wing
then..someone else scored i tink..
before someone cross from left wing and the ball fell for me nicely

with no defenders
i ran into penalty area
but first touch was bad
it was a heavy touch
thankfully, the defender stun
and goal keeper stun
so i take chance
run in..
cut back, and the keeper tot i shooting fo near post
so i aim far post
and it went in
i shd say roll in

the only person i tot of then was henry..how calm he was..
so i tried it
and thankfully nt malu ar

whee..another week is over

finalli, the school term's ending.
though it means mid yrs are round the corner, it oso means tat i'll have mre rest, mre play, and nt to mention, mre mugging

well..several activities have already been lined up!
=)

the last week of sch will be a short one
Monday: Vesak Day (No School-Stay home do Elearning homework and study for econs test)
Tuesday: School till 5.05pm plus briefing on CIP after that plus Singapore Maths Olympiad training till 7.30 after tat
Wednesday: Half day school likely to be expected (MJC soccer boys made it to the finals. Hence, as it is tradition, the whole school will be going down to Jalan Besar Stadium for match at 3pm. Transport provided too^^)
Thursday: E-Learning (Stay home for lessons from 8am to 6pm. rather go sch..day shorter >< ) Friday: Elearning Day 2 (Lessons from 8am to 7pm!!! RAWR! craziee!)

28 May: SMO competition 1st week of holidays - Finally the five are reunited! =P
Me, Tiong Wei, Daniel, Bo jun and Bao Hui =)
we gna go yum cha and play pool?

Happy Mothers Day

spent my whole saturday at the seah's hse

poiemians were baking cookies

for mother's day!

haah

orignally planned it to start at 9.30am

but..i overslept..

until 9am..

so i reached there at 10.30am..

and to my horror

no one was there yet!

we had nt bot the ingredients..

had not gt a recipe

had not planned shopping list

and so me and sarah and rachel sat down to decide wat to do

with auntie gwen's help

then..

me and sarah went to tmall to buy the ingredients

halfway thru our shopping

benita came to help us

so at least gt some expert help

haha

then we spent like 55 dollars??

hahaha

then go popular and mini toons looking for some stuffs

before going back to sarah's hse

then we started baking first..

and woah

4 big cookies was the results

quality check?

out of the oven!

then we bake second batch

and it was better

haha

soon alot mre people came

=)

then uncle steven asked me to go with him to concourse get some materials

but concourse closed!!

Praise God my mum called us in time

so we went east point instead

then..

we baked all the way till 9.30pm ar!!

cuz i tot train 3 mre months btr..
but somehow God let me meet my best fren daniel
and woah
he asked me to do retest with him
so i agreed lor
but i tot i was gna fail again
and no use
ut i decided to give it a try
low and behold..
i passed!
God seriously helped me
like..push me up!

Sushi! (their most expensive sushi is $78 per piece. wrapped with abalone. Never ever gna afford that.)

Yellow Tail Fish = Best fish ever!! $32 bucks market price

Cod Fish is nice too ($30 market price)

Fried Tofu..unique taste and texture ($18 for 3 piece)

Unagi! my all time fav ^^ - $35 bucks

Went out with auntie steph and sis for bdae dinner at Yoshida Restaurant
the chef name is Sushi
nice place
every business men drinks sakae there
would have tried a bit if i was legally old..
probably tastes like sushi water..

the ambience was nice
but a bit too dark
nice plpy by them
they wanted us to not be able to see the pricing ><

went to NYDC
and spent a bomb there too
but i loved the cheesecakes
creamy..cheesy..and perfectly nice
if Singapore has no top quality pie whcih america offers
then the cheesecake here are better than those in Orange County, Southern California.

Then went to Levis
and aunty steph bought me a shirt and tshirt
gna wear it this sun
quite a nice shirt

went home after that..
