today is sunday!
church!
yesterday tiong came over to stay
we had some fun watching soccer
which was disappointing as aston villa went down 3-2 to stoke city
while liverpool unfortunately beat middlesbrough 2-1 by luck
church today was fun
at least at agape
aunty yeepeng led the children's worship
and i sat in
i always liked the idea of going back to help out at agape when i grow older
and also capture the wonderful memories i had as a child nt too long ago
i must say everything's changed
the kind of worship songs etc
last time i rmb aunty veron would teach us new songs that i still vividly rmb
such as "Be Like A Tree" and "Doctor Jesus"
i rmb we still used the old kind of OHP back then!
now its using computer..keyboard..music players..
and they dont sing alot of old traditional children worship songs
but it was fun
just watching the kids roam around
like how i probably used to when i was their age
you know..walking ard..chattering..playing..and best of all, getting scolded.

today the kids had a lesson on patience based on the movie FINDING NEMO

poiema we learnt abt knowing that Jesus has faith in us, even if we ahve no faith in ourselves
so we shd always rmb that He is watching over us, catching us each time we fall
played tennis soccer with tiong wei, charmaine and iris after that
used a tennis ball

been some time since i played soccer with tiong wei
as in, real traditional 4r1 spirit soccer
you know..typical tiong wei. ball flies as if it has wings and a mind of its own

miss those street soccer moments
lunched with the youths and uncle steven and auntie gwen later on
me, tiong wei and alvin had so much fun
we ran all the way from the church to Simpang
and halfway it started to rain!

i was like..treating each metal drain casing as a hurdle
and i told them
i'm running a 3km hurdles race
watch me
ahah
and i went jumping over each hurdle and running at the same time
woo!~
went back to study with tiong wei, sarah, charmaine, deqi
they bot loads of snacks man
and it started to rain
so cldnt go home
until the rian stopped momentarily
and me and tw made a dash to the mrt
hmm
Beijing Olympics 2008 has closed already
nice 2 weeks of non stop sporting action
the closing ceremony wasnt as glamourous as the opening
but the part on London 2012 was certainly interesting
cant wait for 2012
but firstly, lets be focused on two things.
1) Youth Olympics 2010, Singapore (I'm hoping hard that since i be enlisted in that year, i be allowed to actually go and maintain security there. It's so cool, to be in the thick of the action. woo!~)
2) 2010 South Africa World Cup (Hopefully I'm enlisted after June. So I can spend my June watching World Cup at Jimson or Bao's hse)
