results.

hello

gt back 4 results in the past 3 days

tml will be the last 2 papers

well well

it started out quite pleasantly for me

considering my 4U's during june common tests, i was hoping to pass most of them this time round

physics kickstarted it

finally passed it

and at the right time too

got a D grade

not exactly good though

there's definitely room for improvement

but for now, i'll celebrate passing it

in fact, our class was the most improved class for H1 physics, and also the best performing class

Next up was chinese

i was always sure i wouldnt fail this subject

and i didnt

but it wasnt exactly a nice result

gt a C grade

it was heading towards a B..when the same thing happened when i was in sec 4

in sec 4, everything was going well for my first A grade for chinese until i gt back my compos and realised i scored 2.5/20 for the letter writing and it demoted me to a B4

this time round, the teacher was reading out the marks for chinese oral and chinese listening

i was last on the list by virtue of my surname

she paused for a deadly silent long time

my heart was beating

was there an error?

teacher said:"Chinese Oral 25/30 (Which sounded real good by my standards) Listening..5/10?"

I got a biiiig shockkk

omg!

listening get 5/10??

how nice is that?

immediately my B dropped to a C

argh!

i dont usually get that low for listening..so smth must have gone horribly wrong that day

tsk tsk

tuesday we didnt receive any papers..

today..

termed killer day

we were to receive our chem and econs papers

the two hardest and toughest for me at least

first up..econs

70% of lvl passed, 30% failed

i looked at my paper 1 Case Study - 8/30.

I thought. unless a miracle happens in paper 2, i definitely flunk it

Paper 2 came back. Essay - 19/50

Thats a fail

33.5/100 after conversion

ar...the consolation i had is i improved from my june common test marks

from 27 to 33.5

nt a great improvement..bt its still an improvement

always look at the bright side.

but i'll still have to work very hard for econs during holidays ar....

i think i'll have to force myself to seriously loveee econs before breaking the relationship with econs once my exams end

Chemistry

50% passed, 50% failed

what can i say?

already had 1 U grade

would it become a 'double u' in a day?

my papers came back

i took a peek at the last digit

'9'

i thought..well..its either i am very clsoe to apssing, have already passed well, or failed terribly..the number infront is either a 2, 3 or 4

i took a peek at the first digit..

oh man!!!

it was a 3!

39/100

just needed one more mark to get a subpass and have a hgiher chance of clearing my promos!!!

frantically tried to find an extra amrk and random fold a page hoping a half mark would be given

or at least moderate the results!!

i have nvr come this close to passing my chem

the only chem test i passed was 2 months ago

and this was on the verge of making history in my life

ok..abit dramatic..

but still..

oh..shi xiang also as close as me..we both gt 39

tsk

one more!!

so now it stands at D C U U

tml maths and GP

my GP must definitely pass or i'll nvr make it to J2

and my maths

i'm praying real hard that it'll be an A

the odds are quite high..but i dont want any careless mistakes to knock me off

i just cant wait to get over and done with this promotion criteria

another consolation i guess, is that there are quite a number of people out there with more U's then me as well

so they should get retained first before me

okay..on to some happier things

next thursday

my family will be celebrating my grandfather's birthday

my aunt steph has chosen a nice delightful place for us to go to

its called the AQUAMARINE at Marina Mandarin Hotel

its an international and seafood diiner buffet

its $48+++ per person

they have free flow of haagen daz ice cream and free flow of a variety of freshly made smoothies

i think i'll be having loads of ice cream

lol

usually buffet the ice cream some no brand one

but this is haagen daz

omg.

if is nice, maybe nxt yr F.F bdaes can all wait till after alvls, then celebrate all 5 birthdays at one go. then the money will be well spent

ok..what i talking.

of COURSE IT WILL BE NICE

i gna watch teevee now
